OTB members gathered for the organisations AGM and Annual Briefing on 17 March 2021
The following directors were reappointed to the board by a majority vote:
Roger Kerr, Director of Finance (from Organic Farmers & Growers)
Paul Moore, Executive Director (Wintermoore Associates)
Martin Sawyer, Director of Operations (from Soil Association Certification)
The latest market data from Kantar was shared, including market penetration and frequency.
Harriet O’Regan, OTB Marketing Director (from Arla Foods) unveiled the 2021 organic marketing campaign which builds on the 2020 marketing campaign.
Cristina Dimetto, General Manager announced a new set of membership benefits including webinars, roundtable sessions, and features on the Organic UK Channels and the consumer website, GoOrganicUK.com.
Previously OTB consumer campaigns were part EU funded and so brands could not be shared via these channels. OTB is looking forward to working with it’s membership to showcase members brands and products, raising awareness of organic and increasing sales too.
