Soil Association Certification, in partnership with Ocado, have launched the hunt for the Nation’s Favourite – an award for the UK’s favourite organic food & drink product – as part of the BOOM (Best of Organic Market) Awards, the UK’s only organic awards. This award is the cream of the crop of the bi-annual BOOM Awards, as it is down to the public to nominate and vote for their favourite organic food or drink product, bestowing a genuine seal of approval on the winning product. To be eligible the only criteria necessary is for the product to be certified organic, by an accredited UK certification body.
Organic brands and businesses can encourage their fans and followers to nominate and vote for them. Nominations are open until 30th April, then the Top Ten will be shortlisted and put forward for a second public vote to find the winner. Voting for the Top Ten opens 10th May and runs until 31st May. Organic businesses can download these helpful social media assets to encourage their audiences to nominate and vote. The overall winner will be announced at the BOOM Awards Ceremony in early July.
