Garden Organic, Heath & Heather and traidcraft join OTB
The OTB is delighted to announce that the following organisations joined the board in July 2017:
Garden Organic is the UK's leading organic growing charity. Dedicated to promoting organic gardening in homes, communities and schools, and advancing organic growing through research, we use innovation and inspiration to get more people growing organically. Our vision is of healthy, sustainable world that has embraced organic growing.
Heath & Heather was first established in 1920 by Samuel and James Ryder. They were among the first to study the therapeutic benefits of English botanicals, herbs and plants, recording their discoveries and delivering lectures throughout the country to share their knowledge with a population looking for easy, accessible everyday health.
Today, Heath & Heather still has strong heritage as herbal specialists and is committed to developing teas and herbal infusions that use only the finest natural and organic ingredients.
Traidcraft is one of the leading dedicated fair trade companies both in the UK and globally. It sources the UK's widest range of fair trade foods and beverages, which now includes an organic offering, together with a diverse range of fair trade crafts, clothing, household products and giftware.
Founded in 1979 we were one of the early pioneers of the global "Fair Trade Movement" and have a history of innovating new approaches and product sectors in fair trade. We source from over 30 countries, working alongside small scale farmers, workers and artisans and supporting their growth and development.
