Tim Field from Daylesford Organic joins OTB Strategic Advisory Board
The Organic Trade Board is delighted to announce that Tim Field has been appointed to the OTB Strategic Board.
Working for Daylesford founder Carole Bamford, Tim is responsible for sustainability strategy and environmental infrastructure across the Daylesford Organic food and farming enterprises from retail and philanthropy to green energy and wetland creation. He has been at the heart of their Sustainable Restaurant Award success, recognising Daylesford Organic as one of the most sustainable food businesses in the UK.
Adrian Blackshaw, Chairman of OTB commenting said “We are at an exciting time with buoyant growth of the Organic Sector worldwide and in the UK, but the political uncertainty surrounding Brexit and the vulnerability our food supply chain, is extremely worrying. I am delighted that Tim Field will be joining the OTB board at this crucial time. His experience with the Daylesford Foundation, Daylesford farm and of course his environmental background will add even more strength to the OTB board. He will be an invaluable addition to our team.”
Tim Field, Environmental Surveyor, Daylesford Organic said “Since its inception 10 years ago we have hugely admired the convening powers of the OTB to deliver a clear vision for organic in the UK. An invitation onto the Advisory Board is a great honour and I look forward to sharing the combined knowledge and experience from the Daylesford Organic team and the Foundation’s charitable partners at Agricology. “
